Stir-Fry Asparagus & Prawns (Chinese Style Cooking Recipe) Welcome to Xiao's Kitchen. My name is Xiao Wei, ever since my Mother taught me how to cook at an early age, I have always had a strong passion for Cooking. My family still live in Inner Mongolia in the northern part of China, where I visit each year and pick-up new Asian/Chinese recipes. Ingredients: 250g Asparagus 200g Raw Prawns 2 Cloves Garlic 1 Tbsp Cooking Wine 1 Tsp Sesame Oil Salt to Taste Method: 1. Finely chop the garlic 2. Cut the asparagus into about 1-inch pieces 3. Remove the intestines from prawns 4. Place prawns in a bowl, add a pinch of salt and the cooking wine, then mix well and leave to marinate for 5 minutes 5. Heat 1 Tbsp oil in a wok 6. Place garlic in the wok and fry for few seconds 7. Add the asparagus and prawns, stir fry for 3 minutes until the prawns turn pink and cooked through 8. Add a pinch of salt and stir-fry for few seconds 9. Add the sesame oil and stir 10.
